When to harvest Royal Delicious for best storage life?
Every year I struggle with the right harvest timing. Pick too early and the taste suffers, pick too late and they don't store well. At 7000ft in Shimla district, what indicators do you use to decide harvest date for Royal Delicious? I've heard about the starch-iodine test but never tried it.
